Safe Dog Food

How safe is the food we feed our pets? Is commercial dog food a health hazard to our dogs?

The answer according to many in the dog-health field is a resounding yes.

The case against commercial dog food has been gathering momentum. The foods in question are reported to be lacking in essential nutrients and grossly contaminated.

A leading author in the field of dog health, Ann N. Martin, states flatly, 'Most commercial pet foods are garbage'.

If feeding commercial food is a risk to your pooch, what is the alternative? Spend more money?

There are many areas in which I'm willing to pinch pennies, but putting a dollar value on your dog is a tough choice. Can you easily put a price on your friend's head? But do not forget the money costs of vet bills, the physical suffering your dog may go through and your own emotional pain.

If you have kept pace with recent events, you know that the problem of contaminated commercial dog food is not part of someone's imagination.

If your dog is important to you then you must be prepared to do your best for you pet.
